Water & Waste Water Works Engineer AAW Consulting Engineers

1- Review of shop drawings related to his discipline and ensures its compliance with designs, contract requirement and properly coordinated with other discipline. 
2- Review of materials related to his discipline and ensures its compliance contract requirement. 
3- Review all Contractor submittals related to his discipline addressing Method Statements, Project Quality Plan, Safety Plan, Schedules and compliance with Project objective. 
4- Closely monitor site activities to ensure quality of work is in compliance with contract requirements, good practice, approved shop drawings and only approved materials are used. 
5- Ensure quality of work is in compliance with contract requirements, good practice and only approved materials are used. 
6- Carry out all inspections as per the intervention points marked in the inspection and test plan.
7- Ensure that all relevant tests are performed and test results meet the Project requirement. 
8- Make sure that Contractor’s personnel are using the latest revision for approved shop drawings, method statement, quality control procedure and inspection and test plan. 
9- Make sure that any non-conformity has been reported through a non-conformance report. 
10- Preparation of daily reports 
11- Participate in reviewing the relevant As-Built drawings. 
12- Participate in final inspection of work and preparation of Punch List.

Skills

Should be qualified Engineer Civil / Mechanical Engineer B.Sc. from a recognized university. Minimum 10 years of experience in construction supervision activities for Water and Waste Water Works (Water and waste water pipelines, water and waste water networks, pump stations, water and waste water treatment plants). Should have experience in following up the execution according to the approved shop drawings, specifications and required tests. Should have experience in the field of quality systems and safety measures to be implemented in the execution of the Project. Bilingual fluency Arabic and English.
